Shrouded Grove is a special woodland area located in The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim.

Shrouded Grove is an area just north of Korvanjund that contains a cave.

Shrouded Grove CaveEdit

Inside the cave the Dragonborn will witness an Ice Wolf or Snow Bear fighting each other or a Snowy Sabre Cat. After walking around the small corner, a Spriggan Matron, or Spriggan Earth Mother, will emerge and attack the Dragonborn. With a high enough sneak skill it is possible to see the inactive Spriggan leaning against a tree trunk where it can easily be dispatched of with a sneak attack, she will come alive and attack if detected.

QuestsEdit

Shalidors Insights : Shrouded Grove is a possible location for the book (Shalidors Insights) which Urag gro-Shub (Librarian in the college of Winterhold) may ask the dragonborn to retrieve. The book (if at this location) is found in a chest towards the back of the cave.

Notable ItemsEdit

• There is a chest on the far side of the cave with several dead Draugr close by.
• Light Armor skill book – Ice and Chitin – Inside the coffin of Draugr.

TriviaEdit

• Some of the dead draugr are harder to spot, but there are actually about 3 corpses.
• The combination of animals fighting in the cave is based on the player's level. Lower level players will face an ice wolf fighting a snowy sabre cat, while higher level players will face a snowy sabre cat fighting a snow bear.
