Silent Ruin is a location in Blackreach.
Description
Silent Ruin consists of a single large room, apparently a throne room of some sort. There is a chest to the left and some junk on shelves, and a Crimson Nirnroot growing in a pot to the right of the throne. The Warrior skill book is lying on the seat of the throne.
There is a pressure plate directly in front of the throne, and anyone who triggers it will be damaged by rotating blades that spring out of a slot in the floor about six feet in front of the throne. If the Dragonborn sits on the throne, it will continually swing at them, and they cannot stand without being hurt.
Notable items
- 1 Crimson Nirnroot in the Dwemer pot on the right side of the room.
- Warrior (Skill Book - Block) - On chair with the trap trigger on the floor right in front of it.
- Chest - On the left side of the room.

- Those with Light Foot can still set off the pressure pad in front of the chair.
- PC PS3 Followers will not enter Silent Ruin with you (tested with Lydia, Jordis the Sword-Maiden, Iona and Aela the Huntress).
- Faendal, Farkas, J'zargo, Serana, Derkeethus, Onmund and Uthgerd the Unbroken will not follow you inside.
