Slaughterfish are a vicious, predatory fish that thrive in large bodies of water. They can attack the player, but the player has to get close enough for the fish to notice the player.

NotesEdit

• Slaughterfish cannot swim in shallow water, so an effective tactic is to draw them out to a shallow area and attack them from a distance. Though they are usually easy to kill, they can pose a serious threat for a new character out for its first swim.
• If you find a slaughterfish out of water, it will flop about helplessly until you kill it or it finds water.

• The Slaughterfish is based off their real-world equivalent - the Gar fish.
• In Morrowind they also resemble chimeras, a group of deep sea relatives to sharks and rays.
