Spider Scrolls are a unique type of scroll added in The Elder Scrolls V: Dragonborn. The function much like regular scrolls, the only difference being the spider is not conjured, but is alive and held in the hand before it is thrown at an enemy. A maximum of 6 can be out at one time.

Crafting

Spider scrolls are crafted in a similar manner to the Atronach Forge underneath the College of Winterhold.
The Imbuing Chamber inside White Ridge Barrow gives the ability to craft a variery of spiders from Albino Spider Pods (either whole or damaged), assorted gems, and other ingredients.
In most cases, three spiders will be created from a successful combination; however, the amount is doubled if a gem of flawless quality is used instead of a standard gem.

As far as I know they stay until they are killed off and you can have a maximum of 5 active.
