The Staff of Ice Spikes is a magical weapon in The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. It can be used to cast spikes of ice that hits the target for 25 Frost damage.

LocationEdit

Can be obtained as rare loot all around Skyrim, though much more general loot at higher levels. Occasionally it can be bought from certain merchants.

UsageEdit

Since the weapon drains the opponent's Stamina, it can be used to decrease the amount the foe can sprint or use power attacks. Its damage is good for the lower levels, but when the player reaches higher levels, he or she can use more powerful weapons or spells.

TriviaEdit

• It shares it's effect with the Ice Spike Destruction spell.
• The amount of charge spent with each use can be reduced by Destruction perks and Fortify Destruction enchantments.
• Along with the fire and shock versions, there is a Falmer version in The Elder Scrolls V: Dawnguard that is exactly the same, just a different appearance.
