The Steel War Axe is a One-Handed weapon found in varous places throughout Skyrim.

LocationEdit

Un-enchanted steel war axes will begin to appear throughout Skyrim at level 2 and enchanted war axes can be found at level 3. These locations include:

• Blacksmiths and General Goods Merchants.
• Wielded by various characters and enemies.
• Found as random loot in chests, or as a world item throughout Skyrim.

SmithingEdit

Crafting a war axe requires the Steel Smithing perk. It can be forged at a blacksmith's forge with the following components:

• 2x Leather Strips
• 2x Steel Ingot
• 1x Iron Ingot

It can be upgraded with a steel ingot at a grindstone and also benefits from the Steel Smithing perk, which doubles the improvement.
