Uncompletable Quest made Completable![]
Thanks to this quest, I was able to obtain the Staff of Tandil for Arniel's Endeavor, which I couldn't obtain due to it being glitched. The quest marker pointed to Falkreath Watchtower, and the Necromancer there respawned with the staff! Five, not four?[]
Hello again. This quest bugs me usually because of how little it pops up for me and while it has been a while since the last time I tried knocking it off the list on things to upgrade and therefore my memory fails me and so It brings up my question, is everyone sure that the blood chalice can upgraded to a maximum of five times not four? I could swear I managed to do this quest a fifth time and noticed the blood of the ancients effect would last for elevan days but I couldn't be arsed to check the duration between body parts. Now though I have started over on the Volkihar side of the quest chain while doing things differently and I have noticed the that while I have turned in the four body part the duration for the effect is already elevan days long. I will acknowledge that this could just be the result of something amplifying the time, but other sources say that the maximum upgrades that can be done is only four and discussion around some of those seem to suggest that other players have gotten the elevan day effect never nine.
