I have seen a number of references to glitching through walls, bars of jail cells, and floors using baskets, plates, kettles, etc. And the baket page says you can use them to blindfold people...But you can't equip these items, so how are they used to blind fold people? And how are they used to glitch through walls and jail cell bars? I tried to have one in my inventory but it didn't work. EarthBoundMisfit (talk) 19:35, November 11, 2012 (UTC)

Add a header to your posts next time.

Anyway, holding an object of almost any kind against a wall, then dropping it and trying to push against it quickly will let you clip through the object briefly, as pushed against you and the wall there is no other way to allow the moment. During this time you are very briefly in a no-clip mode that allows you to pass through walls. Do to the very small window this occurs in, it is best to use Whirlwind Sprint, as it allows you to move very fast very quick.

Baskets, buckets, and some other containers can be picked up by by holding down the "take" button when looking at them. After you have picked it up, you can drop it on top of an NPC's head to that it actually covers their head (this is difficult to get right though). Since they have a solid object over their head, they can't see through it, and are effectively blind as they can see nothing outside of the bucket, basket, or whatever.
