I have always wondered. Is there a use for Bloody Rags? I mean they are an identified object, that you can take.. so there MUST be a use for them no?

No use for them. Just like linens, spigots, bellows, saws, hammers, and many other miscellaneous items. They just exist to fit in whatever environment they are found in. I'm guessing Bloody Rags would be found in some type of torture chamber or vampire lair. —TombRaiser SPEAK! 02:59, December 15, 2012 (UTC)
There may never be a use for them, but Bethesda is known for changing useless items into useful ones with DLCs. They did this with coffee mugs and coffee pots in Fallout New Vegas when an add-on made them necessary items in crafting Black Coffee (a very important item for hardcore players as it restores health instantly).DarthOrc (talk) 03:22, December 15, 2012 (UTC)
Sorry, what is DLC? I have PS3 and use Skyrim from the PS3 Disc.

DLC is DownLoadable Content, such as The Elder Scrolls V: Dawnguard, The Elder Scrolls V: Hearthfire, and The Elder Scrolls V: Dragonborn.

As stated, yes they are likely just an environmental item meant purely for decoration. You see them a lot near any kind of torture area or in military sick tents. Some items exist for no other reason than to make the world feel more immerse.
