What if.... Edit
What if someone The Black Sacarament on the Dark Brotherhood would they be forced to kill each other?
The Black Sacrament is not an ipso facto contract, its a prayer to the Night Mother, the contract is made only if the Night Mother accepts to respond the prayers.Ullvarg (talk) 21:03, March 11, 2013 (UTC)
One of the five tenets says members cannot kill eachother. 126.96.36.199 19:01, February 13, 2012 (UTC)
In Arena Edit
The Dark Brotherhood was in Arena. They were only mentioned though, and I had to rescue a king's cousin who was kidnapped by them. In a random quest.
Please add Arena to the list as "mentioned"
It's not mentioned only, I made a similar quest and arrived the city at night, when tryed to rest in a tabern was atacked by two Dark Brotherhood agents dressed with monk ropes instead of their typical shrouded armor. So the real FIRST APPEARANCE of the DB is in Arena.
Even better :-D this should totally be as "First Appearance"
Someone add this
Morrowind before TribunalEdit
The Dark Brotherhood was present in Vvardenfel before the events of Tribunal, they were the main enemy of the Morag Tong and according to them each local branch of the Dark Brotherhood was ruled by a night mother, the last quest before advancing to the rank of Master in the Morag Tong was to kill the night mother of the Vvardenfel Dark Brotherhood. I was surprised when saw no article about the Morrowind DB Ullvarg (talk) 21:04, March 11, 2013 (UTC)
- Well according to this and this, the Dark Brotherhood existed as early as 2E 360. I would think that since it is an offshoot of the Morag Tong, it would have initially have been formed in Morrowind, although that's speculation on my part. Arlimahera, who made a mention of their early days and did hire them early on, was from Hammerfell, although it's not impossible that their relationship was more of a long-distance one. To be honest, I don't think we really know, but Morrowind is my best guess. —Atvelonis (talk) 03:22, October 1, 2015 (UTC)
