Weight[]

Is the armor really disproportionately heavy? When compared to steel armor the armor values range from slightly below to slightly above, and the weight seems to scale with whether is is better than steel or not, with the piece that is better than steel (the sheild) also being the only peice to be heavier. The falmer helmet is a full 9 AV worse than steel, but other than hat, the values seem roughyl consistent, and could even be viewed as a lighter alternative to steel, or something you can mix and match with

Hiya Velothian, I think your are correct. When I originally wrote that I was looking at it based on the shield and was also factoring the value 10g!. Now that I looked at the complete charts it is actually LIGHTER then the other armors in a AC/wght ratio in some cases and worse in others. (if the tables are correct and I have seen some errors e.g. Steel Helmet and Steel Plate helmet list same AC)
  • Iron Armor 28/30 = .93
  • Steel Armor 34/35 = .8
  • Falmer Armor 31/20 = 1.55
  • Iron helm 17/5 = 3.4
  • Steel Helm 19/5 = 3.8
  • Falmer Helm 10/5 = 2

The higher number the better ratio. So I think a more accurate statement is that Falmer Armor is confused :) So, I will remove the line. Looking at this made me think that an Armor comparison chart would be nice if someone has the time and inclination. --DLanyon (talk) 14:18, December 6, 2011 (UTC)
