Twice now, on the PS3, I have attempted to start the quest "Battle for Fort Dunstad" and encountered a bug that makes it impossible to complete the quest. When I arrived at the fort, both times it was completely desserted, with no soldiers at all, either Stormcloak or Imperial. When I went to a particular spot on the road leading to the fort, the "Meet with the soldiers attacking Fort Dunstad" objective was marked complete, and the new objective "Take the fort by defeating the enemy (100% remaining)" appeared. But because there is no one in the fort at all, the objective is not completable, and thus the quest cannot be completed either. Ebenbrooks (talk) 08:19, December 19, 2011 (UTC)

Additionally, going to Fort Dunstad first, confirming the presence of Stormcloaks, and then starting the mission still results in a desserted Fort Dunstad, making it impossible to complete the quest, because the quest marker always says "100% of enemies remaining". where is the key to the trapdoor located in higher fireplace in same area as the skeever pit is?

Item placement Edit

It doesn't affect gameplay, but I wanted to point out that Ft Dunstad, at least during the Quest, has some of the most thoughtful item placement I've seen in the game. Such as the podium with the wine and a scroll of courage in it, they hay bales with pitchfork, the mantle full of potions, the torture tools table, and the bathroom with reading books and a potion of true shot. Lots more examples that just show good thought put into the items on this particular map.
