The Billy Goat Gruff
Edit
I have noticed that where ever a troll is present, there seems to be multiple goats nearby, usually between 3-6. I believe this is an easter egg refurring to the Norwegian fairy tale "The Billy Goat Gruff" written back in the 1800's.
| ~For those not familiar with it, the base plot is that there is a troll that lives under a bridge, and eather eats those who pass or demands some form a payment to cross (varies on the cultural translations and versions). There are three Billy goats who wish to cross, and they essentially trick the troll into letting them pass in the end.

Please post a comment here if you have noticed the same or not. I do play the PS3 version, so I wonder if it is just a system related thing, or does it happen withing all versions of the game. <3 Nekoga (talk) 01:20, April 15, 2012 (UTC)
- From my exp. from playing Skyrim on the PC for 150+ hours. I've never seen any goats nearby Trolls. The most I've seen is one goat on rare occasions but the goat I've seen is decently far from the Troll.
I sometimes do see a goat or two, but most the time I'm too focused on the troll to notice. FlareGlare (talk) 13:02, June 5, 2012 (UTC)
I have not found them very hard, and the've been appearing ever since level 10 or so. I'm now level 50, and have only encountered a regular troll once (inside the temple of Labyrinthian). This one was more difficult, while I usually 3-hit frost trolls. Is this a glitch? Ftaghn Talk 02:23, February 13, 2013 (UTC)
