Patch 1.9 - Still not removable?[]
I tried to remove the journal post patch, but it's still marked as a quest item. :(

Reason bug still occurs after Patch 1.9[]
If Gallus's Journal is still stuck in your inventory after updating to Patch 1.9, this is why:
The reason it remains as a quest item post 1.9 patch may be because the Thieves guild questline was completed before downloading the patch, and for the quest item flag to be removed you would have to have completed the Thieves guild questline after downloading the patch. --This information was moved from main article.
My Journal seems to have duplicated when I took it out of my bookcase.
