Possable bug?
Today I went to see the jarl of winterhold, and after asking if there was anything else i could do for him he sent me for the helm of winterhold, again. I cant see this being normal, can it? (playing on PS3).

Armour rating?[]
Base armour rating listed as 36? More than Daedric helmets? Surely that's incorrect. 59.101.37.64 11:04, March 19, 2012 (UTC)

Console usere cannot determine a piece of armor's true rating because one cannot disable perks or skill levels. It takes a PC to see the true base value of any piece of armor, (or weapon, for that matter).DarthOrc (talk) 03:02, October 13, 2012 (UTCC)
Can't start quest for the helm[]

Bug (falsely?) stating the Helm of Yngol can't be retrieved[]
The article states this in the bug section: "If the Helm of Winterhold is in Yngol Barrow, instead of Yngol wearing his unique helmet, he may be wearing the Helm of Winterhold, making it impossible to retrieve the Helm of Yngol."
According to the Ashore in a Sea of Ghosts unmarked quest page, Yngol will not spawn at all, instead being replaced by a Draugr Deathlord or Dragon Priest. - I have encountered the bug myself. I had been sent to Yngol Barrow to acquire the Helm of Winterhold, however I could not acquire the Helm of Yngol because a deathlord was occupying the space instead. I had to reload the save and follow the method to spawn both by never entering the room and luring the draugr out.
