Anyone else reminded of the scene in Conan where he comes across the sword in the cave next to the skeleton. Sure there's no sword, but the skeleton with the helmet sitting in the throne seems somewhat similar to that scene.

Someone had claimed (under trivia) that yngol is the swedish word for nipple wich it isn't. It might mean that in some other language but not in swedish. The closest swedish word word be yngel wich means tadpole or polliwog, i.e. the young of fishes and frogs.

Levelled?[]
I am certain that I have or had a file that has a Helm of Yngol with 40% frost resistance. Can anybody confirm this? 124.168.173.191 04:56, April 15, 2012 (UTC)
- Mine's 30%. Its base defence was 48, and upgraded with all Smithing perks and 100 Smithing was 70. It most likely is levelled, like most other unique armors and weapons found in the game. — The1AndOnlyMike (talk) 02:48, May 1, 2012 (UTC)
Trivia?[]
Is there any particular reason trivia mentions that this armor piece is effected by smithing perks? Nearly everything is, most exceptions being iron/leather, so unless someone could confirm/specify why it's worth mentioning (such as being improved with iron and effected by steel smithing) I think it shold get removed.
