Ok, this article uses the words "latest patch" far too often. The patch version number needs to be listed to varify at what point things were tested last.

I made various changes to this Page, especially the Bugs Section which now has Current Bugs & Officially Patched Bugs Sections. From now on, let's stick to the standard Housing Format seen on Honeyside Page.

After Purchase ComplaintsEdit

After purchasing Proudspire, I placed a load of my own items all around the house... only to have the bugged item placement send everything flying as soon as I re-loaded the house interior. I'd rather a house filled with default trinkets, instead of one where my own custom-placed items rocket from the shelves every time I try to place them. Is there any way for me to re-set the home to its original state, so that the default items are replaced?

My vent cause I am frustrated. This really has to be the house with more bugs than a bguman could ever kill! The only reason I bought it was cause the Windhlem one was bigged out and I couldn't buy it. Sorry end of rant

Q&AEdit

Is this house still as buggy, after the newest patch for Xbox? I'd love to move into it, but not untill it's less buggy .. Edit: I bought the house and the upgrades, and everything seems to work just fine. It seems like the bugs were fixed. Can anyone else confirm?

Upgrade Options disappear even if not all of them are purchased yet? Edit

I've recently experienced a bug with this house. I only purchased two of the upgrades (Bedroom and Living Room), then left the dialogue with the Steward (because I did not have enough gold at the time). But some time after coming back to purchase the rest of the upgrades (which is several in game days later), when I select "I want to decorate my house", the only dialogue option available is "Never mind, I do not wish to decorate my house at this time", which is supposed to only happen after purchasing all the upgrades.

Anyone else have this problem? (PC)

Bookshelves? Edit

Looking in the construction set it looks like there is only 10 bookshelves totaling 121 books in this manor. The article currently says 12 bookshelves totaling 132 books.

There are not 10 or even 12 bookshelves in the house unless you're counting the individual shelves and not the full bookshelf. Even with all properties in the game there isn't enough bookshelf space to hold the entire inventory of books available. I hope the new fort and castle in Dawnguard have a dedicated library with enough shelf space for my full collection of books. Mictlantecuhtli ^(talk) 12:42, June 19, 2012 (UTC)

House not as bugged as article claims. Edit

I have played through the game four times now, each save with hundreds of hours of play time on it and I have not experienced a single bug with this house over many different patches. Most of the problems with items falling through objects, jumping off racks, etc are bugs with the item in question and not the house. Some items are simply unstable and are not suitable for decoration, the dragon burial map (sinks through whatever it is placed on), bust of the gray fox (always tips over), white statue of dibella (reverts to where it was first dropped out of inventory), etc are prime examples. I agree. Only bug with this house I have is the tresspassing bug. Funny enough every one of the items you mentioned I had problems with. Also problems with the bookshelves deleting books.Ddsd567 ^(talk) 05:47, August 8, 2012 (UTC)

Book deleting bug. Edit

I've encountered this bug that deletes most of my books in a particular book shelf, the one on the third floor where the dinnig table is located. I have the whole "The Real Barenziah" collection and Barenziah's biography in that bookshelf, and whenever I open it, my whole Barenziah collection is deleted. I can still interact with the books though. I've tried reloading an old save file but it doesn't work, can someone try this out amd see if you encounter the same bug. PS: I have an Xbox 360.
