MergerEdit

I believe this page should be merged with Saviour's Hide (Skyrim) as it is the same, but spelt wrong.

Well I think Savior is the American spelling and Saviour is the British, Just Like Honour Armour and Colour. Kaldhore (talk) 17:45, December 18, 2011 (UTC)

Right I see, but shouldn't they both be under the same description, or at least a redirect? In the UK's 360's version it's spelt "Savior". I think it would make sense to get it under one article. 30px LeeVEGETA talk 17:58, December 18, 2011 (UTC)

For collectors only ? Edit

Did I miss somehing ? Looking to the stats this "powerful" daedric artifact can be of some use only to very low level characters, and useless at the time the quest is completed. Even upgraded to legendary it offers little protection, and the resist poison enchantment is pretty useless. Is there some hidden feature I missed ? Croquignol (talk) 12:54, January 5, 2012 (UTC)

YupEdit

Like many Daedric Artifacts, its mostly just for completion/achievement purposes, or very low characters. Aside from looks, and the listed bonuses (minimal) its just mediocre "super-fur armor"

Yeah, it's a damn shame - daedric artifacts are meant to be truly superior to any mortal equivelants, but they keep coming up short. Back in Morrowind, the Savior's hide had 60% resist magic, and it's only ever gotten nerfed since then. I miss the old version, it was truly a daedric artifact. That being said, the new version looks great on girls. 59.101.37.64 03:50, March 12, 2012 (UTC)

In Defense of the Savior's HideEdit

If you have a female (let's face it: female characters look like Frank Frazetta paintings in this thing, while male characters look like crazy people) and primarily light armor using character, getting this item (especially with Hircine's Ring) IMO is not at all a throwaway errand for an achievement. If you have gotten into smithing, alchemy, enchanting and the other various ways to go past the typical legendary level upgrades, you can make the Savior's HIde as strong as 272 (with 100 Light Armor).

Not only that, but like the Ebony Mail, it seems as though it either blends with or makes the colors of your other equipment blend with it, which is very cool (right now I have Mjoll as a follower wearing the Ebony Mail with a Blades helmet, and the shoulders etc on the Ebony Mail became very close to or the exact shade of blue from the helmet). I've had my character wear the SH with Dark Brotherhood and Nightingale Boots, and both not only matched somehow, but looked great. The Dragonscale boots, gauntlets, and helmet also go with it really well. 76.121.163.168 12:49, February 10, 2012 (UTC)
