Secret area?[]

- Not sure which "small room" you're wondering about. I've explored the dungeon as extensively as I could, cleared the "fog of war" from the map completely, and not found any area that couldn't be entered. There were a few spots that were blocked by debris or vines or cave-ins; these could be looked at from spots that had to be scrambled to, the map "cleared," but not actually entered. Valthume ebony sheild[]
Supposobly there a Ebony Sheild in Valthume is it a random ourrcurance or meant to be there because i cant find it??

- its most certainly random but if you are at higher levels the drauger deathlords will have them along with ebony swords as their primary means of defense and several shields can be looted from the many enemies found here.64.126.90.132 19:49, January 24, 2012 (UTC)
Excellent Dungeon for Thieves[]
Just saying, so many pressure plates and whatnot that you can outright avoid by having the appropriate perk in Sneaking. However if you have a follower, he'll step on each and every one.

Ebony Shield and book[]
You enter a large room on a balcony, most of the room is below you. Across the room on another raised platform you see a ghost form walk to edge turn around and disapear. Behind where the ghost was is a chest and an ebony sheild. You can get to it by walking the ledge on the left hand side of the room and using Whirlwind sprint to get to platform.
Also found a copy of Ahzirr Traajijazeri in Valthume, by itself not with other pile of books. Maya Roses (talk) 15:38, October 28, 2012 (UTC)
Not ALWAYS ebony.[]
Under Notable Loot: "All Draugr Deathlords use Ebony Weapons, regardless of level." This is not always true. I've most certainly encountered Draugr Deathlords that were not wielding ebony. It is probably accurate that all of them have a chance to use ebony weapons regardless of level, but not all of them do. I recently encountered one using a Honed Ancient Nordic Battleaxe, for example. Kalanos (talk) 03:31, September 14, 2013 (UTC)
