Dialogue[]
- In Ebonheart
Hmm. This one smells some magic on you. Do you not sense it? Maybe Magrus licks your face when you sleep! Ha! What is it that you carry?
- It's a book. Can you tell me anything about it? "Difficult to say without looking it over. This binding is frayed. A sign of age, yes? Ah, yes. You're already on your way to earning membership in the Mages Guild. We offer great rewards for books like this."
- What kind of rewards? "We can teach you unique techniques and provide access to special spells and abilities. Enticing, yes? And from time to time projects crop up for our truly five-clawed walkers. You may end up working with Guildmaster Vanus himself."
- Yes, I would like to join the Mages Guild. "Excellent. This one grants you the rank of Student in the Mages Guild. May Magrus bless your path. Every book you find, or collection of books completed, will now earn you status within the guild. Good luck, walker."

"Thank you! This one thought we were done for after Judge Xiven sentenced us to death. How do we get out of the Hall of Judgment? They're not going to let us simply walk out of here."
- What happened at the trial? "The trial was a farce. They just wanted to make us squirm. Judge Xiven went on and on about fairness and equitable treatment, but he decided we were guilty from the start."
- Malkur Valos is guarding our retreat. The way should be clear. "Malkur? Well, why didn't you say so? Tarrami wondered what happened to him. But this one has had enough of this place. Let's get out of here."
- I'm ready when you are.
Conversations[]
After freeing the prisoners, in the Hall of Judgment:
Malkur Valos: "They cast a shield spell on the gate! We're trapped!" Tarrami: "We'll deal with the gate. Just keep them away from us until we're done."
After slaying Judge Xiven:
Malkur Valos: "You've been judged and found wanting, Xiven!" Tarrami: "Enough fun and games. Let's get out of here."
