Teldur's End is a side quest available in The Elder Scrolls Online. Teldur has betrayed Silsailen. Elenwen fears for her father's life as she left him at the manor.

Walkthrough

To start the quest, the Vestige must have completed both "Silsailen Rescue" and "Real Marines." Having completed the latter of the two, an Auridon Marine will act as a follower during the quest, helping with the combat. Speak to Elenwen outside the cellar where Captain Tendil was held near Valano Manor, in northern Silsailen. She is concerned because she has witnessed Teldur threaten her father, Canonreeve Valano, taking him inside Valano Manor, and fears that he has betrayed the town.

"Thank the Eight I found you! Teldur has betrayed us!"

Betrayed you? What happened? "Teldur asked Canonreeve Valano for a word outside. When they didn't return, I went to look for them. I caught a glimpse of them heading towards the manor. Teldur was holding a knife to my father's side!"

The manor? "Our home, the Canonreeve's residence. Teldur's quarters are there, as well. Please, you must go there, quickly! I fear for my father's life!"

I'll find them. "Teldur must answer for his crimes."

I have a few questions. "Go ahead."

Why would Teldur conspire to destroy his own town? "Perhaps the Veiled Heritance offered him wealth or power. They may have even offered to make him Canonreeve of a larger city. Who can say?"

How can I get into the manor? "The front door is heavily guarded and almost certainly locked, but one of the guards should have a key. I've also heard there's an underground entrance. An old smuggling tunnel that leads to the beach. That might be your best bet."

Elenwen mentions two ways one can get inside the manor. One of them would be to kill members of the Veiled Heritance stationed in the path leading up to the mansion, and looting their bodies for the key to the entrance. For those that wish to avoid conflict, the second way of finding from the hidden entrance would be best. The entrance is located behind the manor, on the beach. The beach is patrolled by Veiled Heritance members, however, it is easier to sneak by them.

After finding your way into the Manor, you must locate Teldur. He will be hidden behind a screen decoration, directly opposite to the main entrance. He explains that Cannonreeve betrayed them, dying shortly after.

"The Canonreeve ... betrayed us. Betrayed us all ...."

Elenwen said you were the betrayer! "I ... found proof. Canonreeve Valano ... member of the Veiled Heritance. Didn't want to believe. I confronted him. He ... tried to escape. Captured him ... brought him here. His men were waiting."

I need to get you some help. "No! Too late for me. Must go! Stop Valano ... before he escapes."

Teldur?

After talking to Teldur, head up the stairs in the manor. Canonreeve Valano can be found on the upper floor, along with four other Veiled Heritance members. Since the Auridon Marine will also fight alongside the Vestige, the fight with Valano can be considered relatively easier.

After killing him, the Vestige must report back to Elenwen. She will be waiting in front of the main entrance inside the manor along with two Auridon Marines. After telling her that Teldur was not the traitor as she initially thought, but the Cannonreeve, her father, she is in disbelief.

"Your valiant rescue of the First Auridon Marines was well-timed. They've driven off the last of the imposters. What news of the traitor, Teldur? Was Canonreeve Valano injured?"

Teldur is dead, but he was no traitor. It was Canonreeve Valano all along. "My father was a traitor to the crown? Orchestrated an assault on his own people? Why? Why would you do this father?"
