The Assassin is a quest in The Elder Scrolls III: Bloodmoon. Carnius has instructed the Nerevarine to assassinate Falco Galenus.
Objectives[]
- Speak to Carnius Magius in Fort Frostmoth
- Go to the Tower in Raven Rock, located west of the Ebony Mine
- Pick up the Steel Longbow, Scroll of the Hidden Killer, and the Poisoned Arrow
- Cast the scroll and ready the bow, wait for Baslod to attack Falco Galenus and run away being chased by the guards
- When the guards are out of sight, shoot Falco with the bow and poisoned arrow
- When Falco is dead, return to Carnius to receive the reward
Walkthrough[]
A few days after completing "Hiring Guards," if you sided with Carnius, return to him for assignments. He will tell you that he believes it is time to assassinate Falco. Doing so will convince the investors that Raven Rock is unsafe, and that they need to pull out their money. He plans to have you shoot Falco with a poisoned arrow while Baslod distracts the guards.
Head to Raven Rock and climb the mining tower. you will find some items there to use for the assasination: a Scroll of the Hidden Killer, a Steel Longbow and the Poisoned Arrow. The scroll will make you almost completely invisible as well as greatly boost your sneak and archery, so it will be very useful for this mission. Cast the scroll and equip the bow. The moment you draw your bow, Baslod will attack Falco and run away. distracting the guards. This is your chance to kill Falco. Baslod's script will not activate if you are anywhere other than in the tower, so do not get ideas of doing it from somewhere else. Also, make sure you are not sneaking when you fire the arrow, as you might hit the balcony instead.
When Falco lies dead, return to Carnius for your reward.
