I nominate Balagog because he is an exceptionally active user, and I cannot come online without him being on an editing spree. He has a very high reputation on this wiki, his rank being 10, but i have no doubt it will increase yet; he holds many achievements for being active. Support — Expanding on what Jimeee said, high edit counts and adherence to the wiki's style surely boosts one's case when applying for a staff position, but it is not required. What we need is a dedicated individual who is willing to ensure New Pages are up to stuff, one who ceaselessly scouts out and removes vandalism, and a friendly individual who is willing to point users towards policies and guide pages when they need help. I feel that Gog definitely fits the bill and am surprised we waited so long to nominate him. Anyway, to answer your question, the editors can vote how they want. Most of us are agreeable, forgiving folk who like to give people chances. Besides, I see no reason why Balagog should not be a patroller, unless one is unwilling to forgive the whole, "Dar is a bot" business, which Gog has clearly graduated beyond. Certainly, I hope users aren't editing with the crowd to avoid conflicts etc. I would certainly vote "no" if I felt someone didn't deserve the tools. Aside from Mask, GramsJ, and Loonix, I have not personally nominated many patrollers to the wiki. I prefer to nominate admins, or prepare my acolytes for adminship to the best of my ability. Having edited Wikia for over a year, I've also seen many editors come and go. It's difficult to find good eggs that stay past their "hatching". Bad food puns aside, I believe, given Jay's track record, that he would benefit from having the rollback tool. Not only for being a trusted user, but for being a valued contributor and excellent vandalism patroller. He has uploaded many gorgeous 3D renders of Oblivion armors, and given the current status of articles on games older than Skyrim, we could use more editors willing to edit those pages with text, item stats, and images. With the rollback tool, he could quickly keep those articles clean. Given the influx of edits that may appear as a result of Dawnguard being released on PC, and soon to be released on PS3, having another patroller could prove to be advantageous. Granted, we are already under-staffed as is. Of course, there is always The Elder Scrolls Online to prepare for as well. Allies could help us ensure a smooth release date.

Also, in the last week of June (as evidenced here and here), Jay was highly active as a vandalism patroller. Occasionally, even to the exclusion of the wiki's actual patrollers. Additionally, he has been a half-operator and a custodian on the wiki for several weeks now. He has employed these tools well, from what I have observed, and will only improve with time. I am willing to take him under my wing and form a sort of "Doom of Damocles " if need be.

I am nominating Kroq-gar78 for patroller. He's an active contributor in helping keep the wiki up to standards. He has shown the ability and understanding it takes to be a patroller as is already familiar with the proper way to revert and report vandals via the VIP.
