Welcome to Team Skyrim, also known as the Skyrim Guild or Guild Skyrim. The Skyrim Guild is a group of users dedicated to the quality improvement of Skyrim's articles to bring them up to GA or FA standard. The group is not only focused on rewriting the articles, but also on the addition of new information, so that it displays the quality standards that are needed to have the articles nominated for any status.

Duties of the team[]

Team Skyrim works on everything related to the game Skyrim including quests, locations, creatures, weapons, etc. We work on expanding, correcting, and bringing low-quality articles up to a higher-standard article quality. See below for a list of ongoing projects.

Current members[]

Here are the members of the Team, including any title they have in the Guild and their activity level. See under for a description of our members. Members who have not made a mainspace edit in 30 days will be marked as "Inactive."

Special privileges[]

Supervisor[]

The Supervisor is the one who has global rights in every team of this project. Usually, they do not use said rights and does not interfere with the teams but, if necessary, they will step in and move the project along. The following is what they have the ability to do:

  • Has the right to promote and demote users (if necessary)
  • Has the right to allow users to join the Guild and add their name to the registry (if necessary)
  • Has the right to remove inactive users (if necessary)

Guild Master[]

The Guild Master is the head of the team. While they can technically do anything they need, they should do it with a proper amount of respect and civility. Usually elected by the Guild members, they have authority on the team and make most of the Guild's major decisions:

  • Is the primary contact for the Guild.
  • Has the right to allow users to join the Guild and add their name to the registry.
  • Has the right to check completed jobs and move them to the completed list.
  • Has the right to remove inactive users.
  • Has the right to take and complete jobs.

Members[]

  • Work collaboratively under the name of the Guild.
  • Give suggestions towards future Guild projects.

Joining the guild[]

If you are interested in becoming a member of Team Skyrim, contact Atvelonis, the de facto Guildmaster. Ideally, you should be knowledgeable about Skyrim and have enough spare time to be an active member of this guild. Here are the basic instructions that you should read before joining the guild:

Writing[]

  1. Use acceptable English grammar and spelling.
  2. Write from a balanced and fair perspective with a neutral point-of-view.
  3. Follow the Manual of Style, Layout Guide, and all other policies.
  4. Refrain from adding speculation of any kind, whether it is unconfirmed or trivial information.
  5. All information in an article must be sourced.

Editing[]

  1. Check for flawless spelling and grammar, as well as cohesive sentence flow and context.
  2. Make sure articles follow the Manual of Style, Layout Guide, and all other wiki policies.
  3. Make sure all information, images, and quotes are properly sourced.
  4. Fix templates and check for redundant/incorrect links.
  5. Check for any appearances or sources that might have been missed.

Message from Guildmaster[]

I've made the Guild's colors on The Elder Scrolls Wiki:Guilds blue and white; I thought it was fitting, and the people that I had asked did too. The colors can be changed in the future if you guys want, though, just message me if you want to talk. —Atvelonis (talk) 21:12, March 15, 2015 (UTC)

Message from Admin[]

I have a request. Our nominations for FA are nearing an end, and Vivic is in the lead, but has two opposing vote. By current policy, these problems need to be addressed or I must reject the nomination. Both nominations are in this boat. I ask that you guys take a look at the two articles and clean up any problems you find. I know one is a Morrowind article, but I am hoping for the wiki, you will over look this. This is optional, but I ask you guys to help.-Cheatcodechamp (talk) 07:17, March 20, 2015 (UTC)
