This page is considered an official policy on TESWiki. It has wide acceptance among editors and is considered a standard that everyone should follow. Except for minor edits, please make use of the discussion page to propose changes to this policy.

TESWiki's User image policy is as follows:

1. All images must adhere to the Media policy and must be appropriately tagged according to Copyright law.
2. No more than 3 non-related images should be uploaded which are intended solely for a userpage or customized signature.
3. User images must be tagged with the {{user-image}} template.
4. The total filesize of these images must be below 500 kB. It is strongly suggested that none of these images are larger than 100 kB.
5. Images being used on actual articles as well as a user's page are not counted towards the limit of three. However, the general user page policy must be followed, and it must also be recognized that a user page is not meant to be a user's main focus on TESWiki.
6. Images being used on officially approved, shared userboxes do not count towards these limits.
7. Images must be "safe for work": no nudity, excessive gore, or other content which is unsuitable for a family audience, or would be likely to disturb or offend other users.
