The Longhammer is a unique Orcish warhammer found in The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim.

AcquisitionEdit

The Longhammer is found at the end of the Liar's Retreat next to the corpse of its owner, Rahd.

EnchantmentEdit

Its enchantment is described as "Rahd's hammer, the reduced weight allows it to be swung more quickly." This translates to it swinging 30% faster than a regular warhammer. This makes the swinging speed about the same as the Ebony Blade which, despite being a two-handed weapon, swings at the rate of a one-handed weapon. This can be combined with the Elemental Fury shout to increase the swing speed of the weapon to a even greater speed, which increases the damage per second of the weapon.

The warhammer requires no recharging, as the enchantment is innate to the weapon itself, rather then a woven enchantment. With an enchanting skill of 100 two additional enchantments can be added, however the original enchantment description will remain, obscuring the effects added once enchanting is completed.

• The name of the weapon is a reference to Rahd Longhammer, a character in season 5 of the Penny Arcade/PvP/Will Wheaton D&D game at PAX 2010.
