The guildmaster recruits the Vestige to fight daedra in Abagarlas, home of necromancers and Molag Bal worshippers. They realize that Molag Bal is keeping the Morticuum Vivicus in Coldharbour and the Worm Cult is harvesting souls to feed it.
After forging the Prismatic Core in the Earth Forge, Merric and the player fight daedra sent by Molag Bal, and the ghost of the former guildmaster tells them he was murdered.
