Thelsa Dral the Witch is an Imperial Cult quest in The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind. It is one of the Shrine Sergeant quests given by Kaye in Ebonheart's Imperial Chapels.
Background
Egg miners from the Asha-Ahhe Egg Mine have asked the Imperial Cult for help because their mine was cursed. Kaye supects a connection with Thelsa Dral. She was the only witch who escaped the Imperial Cult, when they drove out some witches from the Daedric Ruin Ashalmawia. Kaye tasks the Nerevarine with visiting the egg mine and killing Thelsa Dral if she is indeed the source of the curse. He also gives the Nerevarine 300 
for his expenses.

- Accept the quest from Kaye.
- Travel to the eggmine.
- Kill Thelsa Dral.
- Return to Kaye.
Walkthrough
After starting the quest the Nerevarine should head northward to Khuul. Asking around in the local population they will find out that the people believe the Asha-Ahhe Egg Mine to be haunted, and direct them to the mine south of Khuul. When asked about Asha-Ahhe Egg Mine, a miner inside this mine will explain:
There's something down there. Something evil. You hear voices, and there's nobody there. There are things moving in the dark, but when you shine the light, there's nothing there. I won't go down by the lake anymore. There's something down there, and I want no part of it.
Once lower in the mine the Nerevarine encounters Thelsa Dral and two associates, Gulena Girith and Haakon. Both join Thelsa Dral in the fight against the Nerevarine. After killing Thelsa Dral, the Nerevarine should return to the Imperial Chapels to get their reward from Kaye.
Reward
As a reward, Kaye gives the Nerevarine the enchanted ring Firestone. It is old and belonged to him, and he gives it to the Nerevarine in the hope that it will help him in the steadily more demanding shrine sergeant missions.

I told Kaye that I found the witch Thelsa Dral in Asha-Ahha Egg Mine, and made sure she was dead. Kaye seemed glad to see me back safe. He gave me a firestone ring and told me to speak to him again when I'm ready for another mission.

I told Kaye I wasn't going to hunt the witch Thelsa Dral in Asha-Ahha Egg Mine. He was disappointed, and told me not to come back for at least a day. He told me to decide whether I was serious about serving the Imperial cult before I ask him again for a shrine sergeant mission.
