    • Sometimes, when a game gets more content it has to remember, it takes longer to load, i had all the fall out three DLC's and that increased loading time a bit. Im afraid the best you can do it reload, you shouldnt have to restart the entire game, just go to the last save and hope you dont freeze.

    • Try to load another game first before loading the game you want to play. That once solve a similar problem for me. What's more, would you please add some dots in your paragraph?

    • You know, come to think of it I might remember that once I had exited specifically Severin Manor and was met with an unending loading screen. I managed to troubleshot it by just reloading the save prior to going in the manor. Solved the issue a little better than deleting the entire character.

    • I have this issue sometimes. (It seems to be a common bug with Bethesda games. It's happened in Oblivion, Fallout 3, New Vegas, and now Skyrim.) If it happens you can try a few things before starting up a whole new game.

Anyway, the trick I've learned is a bit lengthy, but seems to work. If the game is installed to your Xbox, uninstall it. Then delete the Xbox's system cache (Directions to do that here: Link ). Now reinstall the game to your hard drive. Turn off the Xbox, wait a few minutes then turn it back on. Load up Skyrim. Download the patches again. Lastly load up your save.

If that doesn't work, perform the Black Sacrement and get Dark Brotherhood assassin to smash your Xbox.

    • It didnt tell me to download patches after steves process. What do i do?

    • Did you preform the Black Sacrement? That's the most important part.

Reload. That's the only real solution. If you feel it's not enough, flame Bethesda's forums with your inadequacy.I've one had this problem sometimes, just reload, you'll do fine.

    • Guyz if you can goto a save but everytime you exit a place or fast travel...

then just load a save that has the least mods needed to load and try to load it with NO mods activated or installed... after you've done this and the save has loaded, create another save (make sure there are no mods activated) then reactivate or re-install all the mods you previosly had...this is an extremely easy way to fix this problem and is easier then completely restarting all of you progress, so try it =D

    • For me when it happens, I have to create a new player, then play them for a bit and then load my main game. (PC VERSION)(Although i do have mods added -)

    • i cant even go to continueor it happens to me

    • It could be due to problems with your computer, is it low on Hard Drive space? Do you have a lot of mods downloaded? If so, the computer may be having a hard time processing or remembering all of the information.

    • Whenever I get long loading screens on PS3 I know it's time to dump some of the gold I'm carrying around in inventory into one of my house containers.

    • Same happened to me once entering Lakeview I reloaded and went back to other saves but none worked, so just buy Honeyside or different houses that aren't plots or on Solthsheim. That might be part of the problem.

This is a really painful and long process and it may make things worse. I have around 170 mods in my game and it took me 4 to 5 days to get the game to run without an immediate ctd, but thats also including the time it took getting the game to work properly with the mods, a few glitches like missing parts and then bam I was done modding, then the infinate load screens had become a major problem. I still haven't found a fix for it. Before I got all my graphics intensive mods I had a bunch of regular game enhancing and lengthening mods and had not to many infinate load screen problems, but now its every time to the point to where the game is unplayable. I can run around and do a lot of stuff which is cool but I am not having a good time with the loading times. I've tried installing open cities to get rid of the problem which helped but then there were still problems entering shops and such .. So a fix is probably either pretty complicated or so simple that its hiding under our noses. Regardless of which, My point is that uninstalling all the mods and then getting them all installed and working properly and in the right order is a pain, and even worse that would be so much more terrible if it was needed to be done each time you entered a new area that required loading and saving before such madness.
