so if olaf one-eye was not a hero then why did he go to sovengrd ?

Huh? Sovngarde Olaf states that he indeed defeated Numinex, otherwise his entry wouldn't be allowed.
That bard is what we here at the wiki call, "a dummy". Even Paarthurnax notes that Numinex was indeed captured.
I think it's fairly certain that Olaf captured that dragon, but he wasn't a very nice man. That bard simply made the fairly common mistake in assuming that a nasty piece of work cannot show valor.
I think bard's tale has points of truth. Numinex was week and dieing when Olaf found him, so this was not that honorable battle.
Dragons are immortal, how could Numinex have been dieing? Also Svaknir does go to Sovngarde if you complete his quest before defeating Alduin, so both parties have to be in the right. Perhaps they had a rivalry.
whether or not you might think of a full-strength challenge, were it some kind of TAMING, is kind of irrelivent, isn't it? No trapping, is any kind of wrestle or contest or anything...
All trapping, is of trickery/dishourable avoiding of whatever you're trapping's strengths/advantages, otherwise, one could simply HUNT, or capture, what one would not need to weaken, by using a trap. What would Hircine say?
so say for a dragon, only things like titans, can 'honourably' wrestle or capture them, by that simple comparison.
Whether or not Olaf was a traitor, seems much more important, in terms of what you're a part of creating, by changing how he is remembered. memories in the living, 'echo' in places like Sovengard,..
...so how you create information about the dead, is something that might affect the afterlife of the dead - surely that matters MORE, than a question of a full-strength or not-full-strength, defeat. Even if a dragon is weakened/dying, isn't it still an achievement to've trapped one, to learn secrets from them, during all the oppression under the dragons at the time?
Was he also some kind of secret Dragon Priest harborour, saying he's bringing liberation from the dragons, while having his strings pulled by them?
That, might be something worthy of a traitor label, considering what the capture of Numinex was intended FOR, wouldn't it? They were intending to LEARN, from his capture..?
Olaf was born in 1E 420, whereas the last holdout against the dragon cult was destroyed in 1E 139, so the tyranny of the dragons had been over for centuries by then. Him being a draugr is something that isn't quite explained, but seeing as he still appears in Sovngarde if you don't do this quest, perhaps he is allowed to return to his body for some reason. Numinex would still have been alive since then because dragons are immortal, like how Paarthurnax was able to wait on top of the Throat of the World for thousands of years for Alduin.
The only details we know for certain about Numinex come from Paarthurnax, who often visted him while he was captured to try making him less miserable. He says that Numinex was "deeply disturbed" by the circumstances of his capture and could no longer remember his own name.
I can only imagine what one would have to do to mentally break a dragon and force it into submission. I can imagine some form of rather dishonorable practice was used, such as having him secured with hooks and chains by many men, who could be claimed as witnesses to Olaf defeating Numinex on his own. Or perhaps some manner of powerful illusion spell was used to induce vivid and horrific hallucinations in Numinex's mind, like a simple Fear spell but far stronger. In such a state, he would be easy to subdue and transport. And we also know that mages are granted entry to Sovngarde, Tsun accepts you if you claim entry by the right of Archmage and refers to it as "the clever craft", so spellcraft is not out of the question.
Olaf likely would not be looked down on by Shor for capturing his opponent rather than killing him honorably since a mortal could never hope to kill a dragon, which may explain his being in Sovngarde. At the end of the day, Olaf did stop a dragon from rampaging across Skyrim, if that is to be believed. One only needs to be honorable to enter Sovngarde, not an entirely good person.
