and you can even rename it to blade of woe when enchanting it, so whoop-dee-doo
Well it sounds like the blade lived up to its name.... "woe is me, I sold the dam blade."
finding armor is depends on your level from what I know, you should craft it if you want glass and no other armor
But you should be able your smithing skill is level 70 and getting perk "Advanced Armors"
This is a old thread, like it's page says Glass Armor can be found on Thalmor instead of Elven around a certain level but other than than there isn't a definite place to find it. If the Blade of Woe is gone theres not really anyway to get a new one without Astrid (except spawn one on PC).
Why does it matter? It is overrated. The enchantment will be never used, as a scenario of this blade's use would be to kill an enemy before they know you even exist, so you wouldn't have lost any health, unless you are in the Battle of Whiterun and there is a very, VERY thick Imperial/Stormcloak who forgot he is in a battle and is enjoying the view, and you can get a replacement of similar or equal damage easily, and, let's face it, the blade looks HORRIBLE. Much better to get a Daedric/Dragonbone dagger, enchanting it (with something that will be used in a stealthy situation), and giving it a cool name.
Re: to the above.
The enchantment is pretty useless. However the blade does look better than most daggers in the game, as it doesn't try so hard to look mystical and shit like Mehrunes Razor. Looks like the perfect stabbing weapon, which you could cut into someone with, like cutting through butter with a hot knife.
I also like the swing speed, which is about the same speed as a steel sword. I personally hate that when you swing any other dagger, you swing it so fast, it's as if the dagger weighed about as much as a paperclip.
They may want it as a collector’s item, that’s the only reason I still have my Ancient Falmer armour. Simply collecting for fun :) I might also use it later, dress up as Astrid or something...
He's asking a question, it's your decision whether to answer or not.
