As we all know there has been some difficult times in the last months and I’m sure everyone in this community wants the wikia back on track. We all have the same goal so we, the current admins and Ghost Anubis have been looking at some ideas and have also spoken to various people about how we are going to do this. This review includes the mainspace, forum and chat. And it has been Ghost Anubis who has come up with several of these ideas and I want to personally thank him for this.
The starting point will be to review all staff. This includes all staff from the chat mod, forum mod, patroller and admin teams to make sure the right people have the right positions. That will include removing inactive admins/patroller/chat and forum mods. We will also introduce new chat rules to be reviewed first.
So here is what’s been planned for in the next few days:
- Re evaluation of all staff, with the exception of active crats, with new nominations opened.
- New chat rules to be reviewed and discussed.
- Bringing back the MOTM award.
Then:
- Reviewing Roleplayer boards.
- Going through the policies to clean up and make them easier to understand.
- Adding Special rights for forum mods to make their jobs easier.
With a clean team we can start to look into what needs to be done to heal this wikia. This is a great wikia and we can make it a happy one again.
