I believe I said last week was calm, well not this week. We have a lot of news to share with you all. So here is everything that happened this week on the wiki.
- Kirkburn, a member of Wikia staff, has come to us with a new way to help the wiki involving our flags. You can read more here, but I think this is a good thing for us, and will not only assist us, but our visitors.
- ゆ has put forth a new idea for the warning templates. We do have templates for this, but we never use them. This idea is made with the hope it will benefit editors when leaving warnings for policy breaking actions. You can find the CT here.
- Alessian Empire and Dragon Break have been nominated for GA status. Please read the article's, then vote. Also keep an eye out for future good articles and bring them forward when they are ready
- Sload has been Nominated for FA. Due to our policy, we are unable to nominated another article this month, as a nomination for articles must be at least five days. However, this should not prevent you from sharing any concerns about the article. you can vote on it here.
- UAM is our current MOTM nomination. If you have not shared your vote on this matter, there are still a few days left.
- We have a pattroller nomination as well, please review the application for Ser Pouce-a-lot and take part in this matter.
- For people looking for helping becoming vampires or werewolves on ESO, there is a thread helping players find each other to assist in this. This if for console players only, so keep that in mind. So if you are looking to get a bite, or perhaps looking to spread the "curse" yourself, please feel free to join in.
- As many of you know, the wiki is now holding moots. This is meant to address things here on the wiki, and to talk about our future steps together. As it is on a Saturday (for some of us at least), we will have it before the weekly updates, and unless plans change, the update will remain on Saturday night.
This week in the Moot:
- A new code that adds a "report" option in page histories was approved.
- Guild projects will be given to assist in driving the guilds. Jobs will be given and guild members can complete them for points.
- An idea to put a special lock on archives was turned down. The idea was felt to be a good concept, but several felt the idea complicated or that it wasn't needed. There may be talk of adapting or re-modeling the the code later.
- We will now be archiving nominations for good and featured articles.
- Votes taken during the moot must have a two-thirds majority approval. Tight votes may be taken to a CT to better address it if need be
- The Morrowind and Lore guilds will be working together on our lore articles to raise their standards
- We are creating a special shortcut to assist in finding the Project:Moot page.
- We are created a new forum board for topics relating to speculation of future games.
- We have a new guild coming up for the spin off games in the elder scrolls series.
Thats everything. I help all is well for you all. I hope to see you all again in the coming weeks. Thanks, and happy editing.-Cheatcodechamp (talk) 02:55, June 28, 2015 (UTC)
