Throat of the World is a location that appears in The Elder Scrolls Online. It can be found in a brief form in the game, and is part of the quest, Where the Frostheart Grows. The entire mountain makes an appearance, however, the long stairway was blocked due an avalanche that blocked the way, even hurting pilgrims.[1]

A pilgrim is dying in Ivarstead. A healer named Mizrali thinks she can save him with a rare plant called Frostheart Blossom that grows along the steps to the Throat of the World. I should try to track one down.

Trivia
- The Frost Trolls appearing on the steps up the throat may be a reference to the Frost troll that appears in The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim.
- Because of the avalanche, some fences can be located climbing up the steps, but can be avoided, though a tree and a huge amount of snow makes impossible to continue the way.
- The so called Seven Thousand Steps are in a good state during the events of Online, a different picture seen A thousand years later, during the events of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, where many of them were gone or deteriorated by time.
