Traelius is a Breton who studies and lives alone in the Dire Warren cave in the Shivering Isles. He is the lover of Alyssa who left him due to her dislike of their current home.

He is the author of Traelius' Journal, which details Alyssa's leaving and his thoughts concerning it.

He is usually hostile although not always, it could be a bug or is a situation which requires Traelius to have a high disposition towards the Hero of Kvatch. He also has no greeting when talked to by the Hero.
