Fast Travel Daggerfall

Fast travel screen in Daggerfall

In The Elder Scrolls II: Daggerfall, there are a variety of different methods that can be used to travel across the Iliac Bay.

Fast TravelEdit

Using the map, and selecting a city allows the player to travel to the selected town. There are different methods that can be used to decrease the amount of time taken to travel, the cost, as well as the ability to travel "recklessly" or "cautiously."

HorsesEdit

Main article: Horse (Daggerfall)

A horse is one of the fastest ways to travel in Daggerfall without the use of fast travel. Horses allow for greater speed than using small carts. Horses, like carts, can not be rode indoors. Horses can be purchased in general stores.

CartsEdit

Main article: Cart

The cart is similar to the horse. Carts allow for an increased carry weight, however, it is slower then a horse. Carts can be purchased in general stores.

ShipsEdit

Main article: Ship (Daggerfall)

Ships can be used to quickly travel across expanses of water. Ships are the most expensive of the other three travel methods, and can only be purchased inside banks.

TriviaEdit

Horses and carts can travel across the water as fast as they would on land.
