Trollsbane is a unique Steel Warhammer, found in The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim.

AcquisitionEdit

This unique weapon can be found inside an unmarked troll den directly west of Cradle Stone Tower, and directly east of Valthume. Two Trolls are outside the cave fighting. This weapon can be found inside the den on the corpse of Frofnir Trollsbane.

EnchantmentEdit

Its unique Fire Damage enchantment only affects Trolls and Frost Trolls. Attempting to attack anything that is not a Troll will result in the effects of the enchantment being resisted, although physical damage will still be dealt as normal. Trollsbane cannot be disenchanted to learn its effects.

SmithingEdit

Trollsbane can be upgraded with a Steel Ingot and the Arcane Blacksmith perk. It also benefits from the Steel Smithing perk, which doubles the improvement.

BugsEdit

• It is possible for Frofnir Trollsbane to not appear at all inside the cave, or fall through the map, making Trollsbane unobtainable. This bug can be fixed on PC by opening the console and typing: player.additem 6af63 1.
