The Tumblerbane Gloves are a pair of unique Shrouded Gloves found in The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim.

Locations

The Tumblerbane Gloves can be found in the Dawnstar Sanctuary, which is unlocked during the Dark Brotherhood quest "The Cure for Madness."

The gloves are only available after purchasing the bedroom part of the sanctuary during "Where You Hang Your Enemy's Head." They will be on the small rock pedestal in the bedroom. They are not a piece of a whole set of Tumblerbane Armor, being a unique variant of Shrouded Gloves from the Shrouded Armor set.

Smithing

The Tumblerbane Gloves cannot be upgraded at a workbench, regardless of perks chosen.

Enchanting

Wearing this piece of armor grants the following skill bonus:

  • The name of the gloves refers to their enchantment that makes it easier to pick locks.

  •  PC   360   PS3   When the Tumblerbane Gloves are used in conjunction with Glass Armor, the Dragonborn's wrists will disappear in first and third person and their hands will seem to float in the air. This also occurs with Penitus Oculatus Armor and the Shrouded Armor.
