Tysnal, twin brother of Terr, was a Atmoran warrior, one of the Five Hundred Companions, and crew member of the Jorrvaskr.
After reaching Mereth and reclaiming Saarthal, Tysnal and the rest of the crew went south to the area that is now known as Whiterun Hold. The crew settled there, making Tysnal and his brother to be among the first people to live in Whiterun.

- In Songs of the Return, Vol 7, Tysnal is referred to as "Tysnal (Who Was Twice-Named)".
- Tysnal was said to be among the fiercest companions of the time.
