Next Update accidentally revealed?

Bethesda has revealed (accidentally, it seems) a new feature coming to Skyrim via update 1.5. Their blog was updated with a post revealing a new kill-cam mechanic. However, that post has now been removed.

Skyrim’s cinematic kill-cam feature was said to now be included in ranged and magic attacks. Does this ring a bell? This is one of the features that appeared in the “Skyrim Game Jam” video that Todd Howard showed off not

too long ago. The video contained various mechanics and features that the devs played around with, but none of them ever made it into the final product.

The Mystery of The Elder Scrolls

seemingly unrelated races collectively referred to as the "Akaviri", which is composed …

Todd Howard Hinting at Future DLC's and Patches

Here's a quick blog about Future DLC's and possible free content included with patches.

Bethesda: Skyrim DLC Will Feel More Like Expansion Packs We've been promised substantial downloadable content for last year's blockbuster Skyrim, but it sounds like Bethesda is thinking really big.

"For Fallout 3 we did five DLCs," Howard told me during an interview last week at the DICE Summit. "That was a very aggressive path for us. Our plan now is to take more time, to have more meat on them [for Skyrim]. They'll feel closer to an expansion pack." Some of Fallout 3's expansions, such as Operation Anchorage were slender, linear mission sequences that lasted a few hours, but others, such as Point Lookout were entire new regions filled with quests.
