Out of curiosity, I've been wondering if it was ever explained how time relates to aging and units of time (particularly days) in The Elder Scrolls' universe. We know that in Skyrim, for example, a day is enough time to perform what we in reality would consider twenty-something minutes of stuff. We also know that a year is 364 days. I then have two questions:
Is it canon for Nirn to complete a full rotation once every twenty-ish minutes (real time)?
Do the major races of Nirn grow at an accelerated rate (would a 30-year old Imperial look like a real life 30-year old or 6-month baby)?Read more >
Just wondering, if you feel like going on a killing spree in a major city, where do you like to do it? Do you attack Khajiit caravans? Do you storm the Jarl's keep? Do you pick off guards on the street? Do you enter a tavern or inn in a drunken rage? Or do you just take out your passionate destruction on people for productive reasons, and just revisit a bandit camp when you feel like wreaking some havoc?
Right now for example, when I feel like big fights with minimal resistance, I go to the Silver Blood Inn and kill everybody inside. A little over a dozen guards join in the fight as well. The only problem is that Muiri drops by occasionally, and she is essential and immortal. I was wondering if anyone would be willing to share where…Read more >
I had this brief, vague idea cross my mind one day of an extension of Skyrim's plot. There are a few other theories about potential loose ends that we could see added to, and there is also a new, official DLC coming up soon(-ish), but here's what I think:
The Dragonborn has destroyed Alduin. He or she has dealt with the Dark Brotherhood, whether that means becoming its Listener or destroying it. Though a Civil War may or may not continue to rage onwards in a cloud of turmoil, Skyrim has found a brief moment of relative peace. This is not quite the case everywhere, however.
In Cyrodiil, much political chaos has torn the province apart. If Emperor Titus Mede II is alive, he is said to be incompetent and of plenty ill-intent. If dead, oth…Read more >
I was just wondering who the Wikia community thinks is the best husband to have in the game. Practicality is of the utmost importance to me: what is the candidate's occupation, quest difficulty, availability as a follower, and anything else like that. Appearance is secondary, but carries some value as well. For my purposes, I'd prefer humans, but if it conflicts with the usefullness of a husband, it can be overlooked. Of course, I'm not just looking for recommendations. Tell us your favourite(s) as well!Read more >
