It seems those who own a PlayStation 3 are still, after many weeks, out of the picture in regards to Skyrim’s much anticipated Dawnguard DLC, whilst PC and Xbox 360 gamers are relishing in its highly appraised content.
Earlier this month Bethesda made a statement on twitter, “We are not satisfied yet with Dawnguard’s performance on the PS3. We would like for everyone to have a chance to play Dawnguard, but we aren’t going to release it for PS3 knowing that some people’s experience in Skyrim will be worse. We do everything we can to have our content available to all; from our free updates, to user mods, to paid DLC. We’re as disappointed as our fans when that isn’t the case, but we’ll continue to push for that reality.”

It appears another Skyrim DLC could be on its way. Bethesda Softworks parent company, ZeniMax Media, has filed a trademark application under the name Hearthfire. The trademark submission can be found here.
Concerning Skyrim lore, as many of you Elder Scrolls enthusiasts already know, Hearthfire is a month in the Elder Scrolls basically the same as our “real-world” September. Putting this into consideration, September, although unlikely, may be eligible for an announcement concerning another DLC for Skyrim.
