As few of you may know, I created the Skyrim Maps and popup script that goes with it. I also created the dynamic navigation system at the top of every page, and various other tweaks around the wiki as well.
I'm not saying this to brag, I am just looking for suggestions. I have been busy with school, and I'm about to transfer to a new university. So I haven't had a lot of time on my hands. But for the next few weeks, I have nothing but time to waste. So does anyone have any requests or suggestions for me?
I feel somewhat obligated to work on the wiki because wikia was in fact one of the reasons I got accepted to the university of my choice. I wrote a report about the varying levels of complexity wiki syntax has hidden behind its simplicity. The admissions officer, whom is also a CSE professor, actually went through all my code on wikia and commented on how intriguing wiki syntax is, and how it forces a programmer to get creative to solve a problem.
I have been working on the idea of a side menu; either a straight popup menu or a tree structure. But I’m not sure if it is necessary or not.
Also, on the dead island wiki I added a chatango box to the right side of the wiki. It actually worked out quite well. There is very little spam and users seemed to love simplicity and ease of it, in contrast to an IRC.
My last idea is to add more interactivity to the wiki. My popup script adds a little, but it is rarely used on the wiki outside the map pages. I just feel more interaction adds something to this wiki that others do not have. Any suggestions for something I should make?
