I just have a straight-forward question for any who are interested. And it is: where will we be departing from in Skyrim in order to head to Solstheim?
Personally i would assume the player will catch a ride to Raven Rock from an East Empire Trading Company ship near Solitude, considering Raven Rock.. used to be controlled by them. Not sure if they still do, and it's probably safer to assume they don't. However, they may still have connections and a mapped trade route.
Not the most important topic, but with (hopefully) more info about TESV: Dragonborn to come, why not start with the lesser details?Read more >
So yes The Elder Scrolls Online has been confirmed and will be released sometime in 2013. This game will be a huge leap for Bethesda's series and one of the greatest achievments for Zenimax Online.
First off i would just like to say i hope everyone will be purchasing this game regardless of whether it comes to console or not. And for those who would be "thrown to the curb" were this to happen, unfortunately not much could be done, but maybe we can make a difference beforehand. To have only a portion of The Elder Scrolls following able to play their first ever MMO would be a low blow to the series console players. I don't think anyone wants a fellow lover of this fantastic series to be deprived of a game that has the potential to be one of t…Read more >
Ok, so this blog may seem pretty out there, but if anyone could bear with me and provide the information i'm looking for it would be greatly appreciated.
So a while back there was an elder scroll game that was released, called The Elder Scrolls Travels: Shadowkey. Specifically i would like any and all information on "Shadow Magic" that apparently is a large part of the game. Personally, i have never played this game, nor do i fully understand the plot, i have only read on this game from the very limited amount of information on this wiki, and on some others. From what i've researched i believe that i understand "what" Shadow magic is but not exactly "how" it is used. I know that it involves literal shadows, but not as they are generally und…Read more >
Ok, the new Skyrim DLC has been confirmed and is being released June 26 for Xbox-360. We will have the chance to either become a member of the Dawnguard , a vampire hunting faction, OR join the legendary Volkihar vampire clan. These options are both interesting and cool, and also present some challenges that Bethesda has hopefully overcome. Now, what i really want to talk about is the lore of it all. We just get this "random" vampire faction out of nowhere who want to block out the sun for all eternity. I mean really?
My first questions were, this is great but, how will they do this? (obviously we have to wait for the DLC to really find out) How powerful are they? How many are there? What resources do they have? I realize it probably would …Read more >
Okay... so we're in the shadow of upcoming DLC that has been discussed ad nauseam (not to say it hasn't all been worth while). There are so many awesome and different avenues to which Bethesda can travel that honestly most, if not all, ideas are within the realm of possibility. But, one very likely and popularly held option is some sort of continuation of the Skyrim Civil War. Whether the Empire "strikes back" so to speak, or the Thalmor do, or the Stormcloaks invade Thalmor territory, or whatever, is up for debate. The obvious fact is... one side or the other would have to be chosen for such a DLC or expansion or what have you. So, with this said, I come to my main point and reason for this blog.........
GIVE ULFRIC A CHANCE!!!!
I realize t…
