I went to the College of Winterhold. There, an Altmer woman wated. "Cross the bridge at your own peril!" she said. "The way is dangerous, and the gate shall not open. You shall not gain entry!"

"Why are you out here?" I asked.

"I am here to assist those who wish to have the wisdom of the College. And if my presence happens to deter those who wish harm, so be it. The real question is: why are you here?"

"I wish to enter the College," I replied. She looked me up and down.

"Those who wish to enter must show some degree of skill with magic. I want you to cast the spell Firebolt at the seal on the ground." She gestured toward a seal on the floor beneath her. "Now I'm anxious to see you cast it."

    "Er..." I said. "I don…

I woke up and talked to the bartender, Orgnar. I asked him where I could learn about magic. He told me I could find the College of Winterhold in the city of Winterhold, northeast of Riverwood. I thanked him, then went to Faendal. I asked him if he could come along with me to Winterhold. He said sure. So, we walked along the north east path to Winterhold.

Nothing exciting happened until we came across a farm. There we met a jester, he said his name was Cicero, and he was transporting his mother's body when his wagon broke. Apparently, the farm owner, a man named Loreius, wouldn't help him fix the wagon. He told me to convince Loreius to fix his wagon. So I went over to the farm owner and managed to persuade hi…

I woke up and went to the Riverwood Trader, just next door. The seller and his sister were arguing about a stolen thing and bandits. "Did something happen?" I asked.

"Oh, just some thieves who thought they could steal from Lucan Valerius. And well, they have," the merchant said.

"I could help you get the thing back," I said.

"You could? I've got some coin coming from my last shipmet," he replied. "It's yours if you can get my claw back. They are in a ruin called Bleak Falls Barrow. You can see it from the town." He told me how to get there. I thanked him and trekked up the mountain. The ruin was easily spotted. I went up and dispatched the bandits. I went through the ruin, killing bandits. Then, I saw corpses.…

I woke up in a cart with several Nords. One turned to me and said, "Good. You're finally awake. You were trying to cross the border right? Same as us, and that thief over there." He gestured to another man, wearing rags and brown hair. I tried to say something, but I realized I was gagged, same as another person next to me.

"Damn you Stormcloaks. Skyrim was fine until you came along; the Empire was nice and lazy. If they hadn't been looking for you, I could've stolen that horse and been half way to Hammerfell," the thief said. They then began arguing about pointless things, like Ulfric, the Stormcloaks, and other things, but I wasn't paying attention. I was awaiting for my eventual execution.

After a short ride, we s…

    An Anniversary

    June 26, 2014 by Pickleseller

Hi, I'm Pickleseller aka Pickle aka Mudkip. Today is the start of something special: my second year on the wiki. I almost can't believe it; it only seems like six or so months have gone by. Then again, in the same sort of way, it does seem like a year. But that's not what this blog is about.

No, this blog is about the year itself. When I first joined- no, when I first went on the wiki, i had just gotten Skyrim. I had been to a few other wikis before, namely Call of Duty and Assassin's Creed. So, when I first came to the wiki, I just read the pages. That's it: I didn't edit, I didn't go on the forums, I didn't read blogs. I was amazed at all the things I didn't know about the game (this was a couple months after I got the game, so I complete…
