What's up Tamriel?! Jacob here with my new blog page "The Life of a Mage." First and foremost... I have no idea what a blog is, but I'm going to assume it's similar to a vlog, which is something I do often. Alrighty then, let's get past this lame intro and start with my actual blog.

Joke Introduction[]

Everyone in Tamriel seems to despise the mages, but for those of us on Earth, connected to Tamriel by magical portals called, "Gaming Systems," they are really cool.

Races[]

So, for any player looking to become a mage in Skyrim, they may want to consider the best race options for the task. Here are the best ones:

  • High Elf | They automatically begin with Lvl bonuses in Alteration, Conjuration, Destruction, Illusion, Restoration, and Enchanting skills. They also begin with the Healing, Flames, and Fury spells. They can use the Highborn power to regenerate magicka faster
  • Dark Elf | They automatically begin with Lvl bonuses in Destruction, Alchemy, Alteration, Illusion, Light Armor, and Sneak. They also begin with the Healing, Flames, and Sparks spells. They can use the Ancestors' Wraith power to burn anything that comes to close for 60 seconds.

Spells[]

Now, I want to list you all of the Skyrim spells, but that'd take a long time, and I'm kind of lazy, I'll just list some basic ones many would and should have upon starting Skyrim. If you don't have these spells and you're attempting to be a mage, then you need to get these spells

  • Flames (Everyone begins Skyrim with this spell)
  • Healing (Everyone begins Skyrim with this spell)
  • Sparks
  • Ice Spike
  • Lesser Ward
  • Firebolt

Outro[]
