Oblivion Character Builds

Well seeing that Skyrim's DLCs have been extremely laggy for ME on MY PS3 (As Equillibrium reminded me), I have decided to return to Oblivion. I haven't played in a long time and I was thinking of ideas for character builds, but seeing that I haven't played in so long I forgot what can help create a powerful character, so I decided to ask you guys for any suggestions such as for a warrior, mage, assassin, etc. Any help wil be greatly appreciated... Also if anyone knows anyhting that will help fix the lag on the Skyrim DLCs please share. One more thing, if you guys know any other Elder Scrolls like games that perfom well on PS3 can you please suggest some (I've played Fallout longer than TES games, so please don't say Fallout).
