Re: Regarding your links Edit

Thanks for the tip. Unfortunately at the time I made that edit the page had nothing on it to identify it being that particular game, so that's why I only linked it to the Potions disambig page. I see you've clarified that now, it looks much better. See you around, Yyp 20:59, July 31, 2014 (UTC)

Vestige linksEdit

Hey Star, I've noticed you've been linking pages to Soulless One instead of Vestige, which is unendorsed due to a consensus that happened some time ago deciding which title we'd use. So use the Vestige from now on. Thanks. —Sky Above,Voice Within · Show thy Voice! 16:16, August 4, 2014 (UTC)

re: copyeditsEdit

Hi. Copyediting means editing for style, tone, accuracy, grammar, etc., as you can see in this Wikipedia article. I am not plagiarizing from UESP or anywhere else; my edits haven't even been bringing in new information.

One of TESWiki's core policies is to assume good faith, and I'd encourage you to read that policy. In your message, you straight-up implied I've been plagiarizing just because you didn't understand my edit summary. You could have googled the word and found your definition right away. Or you could have checked my edits to see if I was plagiarizing. Or you could have simply left a message on my talk page asking what "copyedit" means without implying I'm plagiarizing. Fionare (talk) 17:14, August 4, 2014 (UTC)

Ok, thanks for explaining what copyedits are. I should have just asked what Copyediting meant or looked it up like you suggested, I now realize in my message I was not assuming good faith when I sent that message nor did I even bother to check your edits to see if you're Plagiarizing. For that I'm sorry, maybe I don't really understand what assume good faith means, and I can assure you I will took a good look at the link you provided. Re: Disambiguation HelpEdit

Hi Starkiller, what pages will go in the disambig? I'll help you out, and I would talk on the chat as that would be easier, but I'm currently banned. That page is currently the only Tanto page, so two more will have to be created in order for a disambiguation page to be needed.

Anyway, to start a disambig, that page will need to have the disambig template. Then the pages for the disambig will be listed in whichever order you deem fit. I need more information on what the disambig is for to help though. —AutoBlood Talk 19:23, August 7, 2014 (UTC)

Well, ok I'm gonna create a Tanto weapon page for The Elder Scrolls: Arena. When I'm done creating I"ll give you the information for Dismabig page thanks Starkiller131 (talk) 19:29, August 7, 2014 (UTC)
Do you plan on creating different pages for each type of Tanto in Arena? The same will eventually have to be done with the Morrowind weapons too. I hope that helps for the future. —AutoBlood Talk 19:48, August 7, 2014 (UTC)
I wasn't planing on it, but I guess i could, anyway thanks for your help. Starkiller131 (talk) 19:50, August 7, 2014 (UTC)
Ok, cool. You're welcome. I'll help in anyway I can, if you need it. —AutoBlood Talk 20:08, August 7, 2014 (UTC)

Ring of NamiraEdit

Actually the anon was correct. The ring grants health and health regeneration upon feeding on a corpse, not health and stamina regeneration. It even says so right in the Effects section of the page. Talos guide you Kinsmen Speak Citizen! 14:32, September 26, 2014 (UTC)

Redundant links Edit

Please stop adding redundant links to pages (like a See also: Conjuration section for Conjuration spell pages). I had to revert quite a few of your edits as they don't contribute anything to articles, and just take up space. You've already been warned about stuff like this before, so I'm not sure why you keep making edits like that. --Shockstorm (talk) 07:27, October 26, 2014 (UTC)

For template caseEdit

Hi Starkiller, I've noticed you've been adding the {{For}} template to some pages, and that's fine, but, I just wanted to have you be aware that when you use the template, the next word after the pipe should be lowercase, otherwise it reads out as: For This weapon in Skyrim, see Glass Bow (Skyrim). I've corrected some of the instances already, but I'll leave it up to you to correct the rest, if you remember which ones you've changed thus far. Thanks. :) —TombRaiser SPEAK!

Re: Help with imagesEdit

Hi Star... glad you are thinking about images. Well, there are a few things to think of. I did write a blog about it when ESO was launched. I have a large monitor so I have a high resolution to get the better images. 1920x1080px. To make the images not blurry or pixalated is to get as close to the object as possible but you need a large resolution for this. We have a standard for characters and if the resolution is too small or under 1600px it might be hard to get a good image of the character. You can see what I have suggested in my blog.

I use Corell, used to be Paint Shop Pro. I've used this graphics program for over 10 years. You can also use Photoshop, but both of these are costly and if you aren't using it for anything else, like photography as I do, I dont recomend you to buy one just to add some images unless you have the money. Gimp is a free program on the net. There might be others too, I'm not sure as I have mine already. Then you have to edit the image, how much is depended on which game or what the object is of course. I mean Morrowind have very dark places for example and it's very hard to get decent images. But ESO is fine, although it seems like it's not as sharpe unless when you interact with the characters or when in Skyrim. You'll have to go through an "trial and error" period to see how to get the best images I guess. Well, that's for now. Just come back if there are more questions. RE: Links Edit

I know that. But I think the word "Imperial" is open for wide interpretation and should therefore in majority make use of an link to a more "universal" page which covers the most about the subject instead of just the subject within the specific game in which the article is related to.

Moon Sugar, for example. If a Morrowind-related article does not specify that it needs the exact information about the subject within that particular game I will link it there, therefore giving the reader an overall view of the subject. However if the information about Moon Sugar, such as stats/effects/value etc are of great importance for the article within the game, I will link it here Moon Sugar (Morrowind) instead.

Seeing as the edited article didn't directly state that Imperials within Skyrim was of importance for the given information, I took it upon myself to give the reader an overall view on the matter.

I don't know if there are any guidelines for this. It's just how I reason.

Team Oblivion Edit

Hey, I am glad to see you have said you would help with the Oblivion articles.

As of now, User:Tehpwner7067 and User:Greeno200 are also committed to this. Others may join, but until then the three of you should talk and figure out the best way to handle this project.

Besides expanding this area of the wiki, another think you should look out for are articles that could become featured article. If you come across an article or two that could be brought to FA standards, do what you can so we can show it off on the main page.

Please let me know if you have any questions, comments, or concerns that would like to share. Thanks and happy editing-Cheatcodechamp (talk) 21:20, January 31, 2015 (UTC)

Hey, Starkiller! The Guilds for the Teams have been set up, and we're both part of team Oblivion. Would you allow me to become the leader of it? I know nearly everything there is to know about that game.

Arena: Pages Needed Edit

Hey,

You renamed a page, User:Arena: Pages Needed about a year ago (No idea why nobody caught this but whatever), I wanted to know if you recall what this was for and if you still need it. The infobox is adding categories to the page, listing it in the Oblivion characters.

It looks like a sandbox project, and seeing as you made the edits I assume it is yours. Do you still need anything from this, or can I remove it so its not listing itself as a character?

Thanks and happy editing.-Cheatcodechamp (talk) 01:50, February 20, 2015 (UTC)

No worries. I just wanted to make sure I wasn't messing with any of your plans if I deleted it. If you need anything just ask.-Cheatcodechamp (talk) 02:10, February 25, 2015 (UTC)

Game templates Edit

Hey Star. The templates for the other games probably shouldn't be added to characters like Geimund (Oblivion) and Geimund (Skyrim). They have the same name, but I don't think they're the same guy. So the template should probably only be used on characters like Neloth who appear in more than one game but are definitely the same person. Thanks. And happy editing! ―Atvelonis (talk) 02:48, February 25, 2015 (UTC)
