Reverted editsEdit

Hi Crazy131, please take note that some of your edits have been reverted because they are too wordy, meaning you are over stating sentences more than is necessary.

For example on Elder Council Chambers:
You changed this sentence (Correct): Though the tower is massively tall, citizens are only permitted on the first two floors.

To this sentence (Incorrect): Though the tower is massively tall, citizens are only permitted to walk on the first two floors.

Since citizens are permitted on the first two floors, it doesn't need to be stated that they are "permitted to walk". See what I mean? —TombRaiser SPEAK! 22:45, May 21, 2013 (UTC)

Re: Removed categoryEdit

Because they don't belong there, obviously.  You've already been told this. - Erik the Mad (talk) 16:37, July 9, 2013 (UTC)

Revert enemiesEdit

There is no need to add the enemies in a new section on the articles you have done, they are already in the infobox. I have removed this on locations as its not nedded unless there is something special you need to know about the enemies. EbonySkyrim (talk) 19:58, July 25, 2013 (UTC)

Links to future articles Edit

Please refrain from removing links to characters, locations, quests, and other topics that will have articles created in the future. By removing the red links you unnecessarily are creating more work for future editors who will eventually have to re-edit the articles and re-add the links. Thank you. ──┤ Eganogard talk ├── 13:47, July 30, 2013 (UTC)

Dragonborn Edit

I've noticed in some of your recent edits that you've been adding links to Dragonborn. Lately, we've been changing most of these to Last Dragonborn, which the player character in Skyrim, which is the link I think you mean to refer to, not Dragonborn. If you edit in source mode, this is what the link should look like: [[Last Dragonborn|Dragonborn]]

Thanks in advance. Kroq-gar78 (talk) 16:43, July 31, 2013 (UTC)

Adding categoriesEdit

You don't need to add the category Skyrim: Characters to character articles, since the infobox automatically adds it. That goes for Locations, Creatures, Quests, and many other infoboxes that already add that very first category. Always preview first before adding any new categories, that way you can see if the category is already there or not. Thanks. —TombRaiser SPEAK! 20:16, July 31, 2013 (UTC)

Salmo Edit

I undid an edit on Salmo because a {{Sect-stub}} was added to the appearances section. I think you intended to add it to the references section, but please note that unneeded reference headers can be removed rather than made a stub.
Regards, ──┤ Eganogard talk ├── 14:52, August 1, 2013 (UTC)

Appearances Edit

The staff and I are going to decide on what to do with the "Appearances" sections of most pages, which you seem to have become very familiar with. When adding such sections to articles, please make sure to bullet them. I've also seen you adding the {{1st}} template to many pages. When I discuss with TombRaiser later today, we'll talk about if it's necessary for pages that only have 1 game/novel in which they appear to have this template. Until then, please stop adding it to articles.

Thank you. Kroq-gar78 (talk) 17:06, August 2, 2013 (UTC)

Stub Edit

Can you use the Stub template instead of manually adding the stubcategories? To add a creature in Online, type: {{stub|Online|creature}}

Replace "creature" with "location" or "character" also. If it's not one of those three and is an Online article, please simply add: {{stub|Online}}

Add these tags at the bottoms of the pages. Kroq-gar78 (talk) 01:17, August 8, 2013 (UTC)

Hi Crazy 131,

You reverted my edit to enchantment which was correct? 23:48, August 8, 2013 (UTC)

In addition to what Kroqgaq said, please stop adding duplicate categories. Also, there's no need to put "Template:" in front of templates on pages. I think this happens because you're using visual editor mode. If that's the case, then I'd recommend changing your preferences to source mode. Thanks. --Shockstorm (talk) 20:24, September 8, 2013 (UTC)
Apparently you haven't bothered listening. Also, do not remove interwiki links or add 2nd person pronouns to articles, like you did here. --Shockstorm (talk) 04:15, September 12, 2013 (UTC)
Crazy131, once more, do not continue to add the stub category. If you want to label a page as a stub refer to the format that Kroq-gar78 explained. There is also no need to overlink texts. Overlinking is adding the same link over and over again, even though it was mentioned a few sentences or paragraphs up. —TombRaiser SPEAK! 17:58, September 13, 2013 (UTC)
Seriously, dude, stop going crazy with those stub templates.  The bugs section on the Ice Wraith page clearly doesn't need one. - Erik the Mad (talk) 21:23, September 17, 2013 (UTC)
Why are you still adding duplicate categories and not using the stub template? --Shockstorm (talk) 19:21, September 22, 2013 (UTC)
I did't mean too where have i not used it recently please tell me ? Crazy131 (talk) 19:28, September 22, 2013 (UTC)
Please use the {{stub|Online|creature}} stub format as mentioned above, and use the game and then what type, Creature/Location/Character and so on.. There is only need for one stub template in articles. Thanks EbonySkyrim (talk) 17:41, October 2, 2013 (UTC)
Please don't add stub sectiontemplate on articles, this latest just now already had a stub template at the bottom. —EbonySkyrim Message! 18:55, November 19, 2013 (UTC)
Crazy131 19:02, November 19, 2013 (UTC)Hey ebony sorry about that but i have a question does this include articles without a stub template.

Which Image?Edit

Dude, you added Fjotli's page to " Image Needed", despite she being dead and buried! What image should be there?(Sky Above,Voice Within (talk) 14:28, September 24, 2013 (UTC))

There is no way to get an image of her so I have removed the category. EbonySkyrim (talk) 17:41, September 24, 2013 (UTC)
Or sorry i try not make that mistake again Crazy131 (talk) 17:42, September 24, 2013 (UTC)

Stop adding links to the Ability disambiguation page.  If you want to add links to an article describing abilities, then use the respective page for the game.  Same goes for skills. - Erik the Mad (talk) 20:01, November 20, 2013 (UTC)

Re: RemoveEdit

You're replacing links to specific class pages (e.g. Dragonknight, Templar, etc) with links to the Classes (Online) page. Also, you keep linking any phrase "ultimate ability", "active ability", and "passive ability" to the Abilities (Online) with no distinction between the different types. MHInfinite (talk) 21:28, November 20, 2013 (UTC)

Template categoriesEdit

You don't need to add "Category:Oblivion: Weapons"; the template does it already. Pay more attention next time. —Sky Above,Voice Within · Show thy Voice! 22:33, December 8, 2013 (UTC)

Locations SectionsEdit

It's not really necessary to put "Can be found in..." on locations sections, it's self explanatory that it can be found there. Balagog gro-Nolob (The Gourmet is listening) 21:53, December 10, 2013 (UTC)

Vandalism reportingEdit

I am struggling to detect why the IP address editor was put on the VIP page. When I pulled up the article history, all I saw was extra spaces and linebreaks added in the middle of the sentence. If that was the reason for reporting, please just undo those types of editors and direct the culprit to the styling guide and sand box for test edits. I also thought you might have saw the word "rape" and assumed it was vandalism. Not in this case, at any rate, since Molag Bal is revered as a deity of rape.

Also, were you able to resolve the problem you were having with your signature after the tips I provided?

I have noticed that recently you have been warned several times about unproductive editing and poor grammar. While no one is "required" to have perfect, novelist-type writing skills, we do want our staff members to have at least average command of the written word. I strongly believe you would benefit from a detailed reading of our style guide. In addition to this TombRaiser has links to writing tips on her userpage. I find them useful. If you're struggling to find articles to edit, try stubs or really badly written and formatted articles. One that comes to mind immediately is: Adventurer (Skyrim), which needs to have links and headers added to it. It also needs to be rewritten for tone. If you're unsure of how to reword things, just replace the words "I" and "you" with "the player" or "the Dragonborn". Cheers and happy editing! Please don't make me regret nominating you for a patroller position. Others have already questioned my credibility after nominating you. However, I have faith your editing skills will improve with time. Don't be discouraged. I'm always happy to help and offer tips. --—Deyvid Petteys (bother \ stalk) 01:43, December 12, 2013 (UTC)

Sorry for accusing you for the Molag Bal VIP addition. Yuri came forward as the editor who put the IP address there. I was confused, due to other real-life things going on here. Either way, the rest of my concerns still ring true. :P --—Deyvid Petteys (bother \ stalk) 02:16, December 12, 2013 (UTC)
Also, please edit your signature template. Your username and timestamp MUST ALWAYS go AFTER your additions on a talk page. For additional insight about proper talk page etiquette, see TES:TALK and TES:SIGN. Now go change your signature. Now. And please, read through the links I've put on here. Do not write it off. I'm serious. --—Deyvid Petteys (bother \ stalk) 02:19, December 12, 2013 (UTC)

RE: External linksEdit

I saw the message you left on TombRaiser's talk page. I handled the issue. Thank you for remaining vigilant and helping us improve the wiki. :) --—Deyvid Petteys (bother \ stalk) 20:52, December 13, 2013 (UTC)

No problem i thought i was right and i reverted the edits and sent him a message a you are aware. But he or she would not litsen so that why i reported the user. Crazy131 (talk) 20:58, December 13, 2013 (UTC)

Thanks for reporting this issue. Spam is classifed as advertisements, such as users creating articles to see things. In this situation, I do not think the editor was a spammer, rather he or she was misguided and was not aware of what constitutes as proper article creation. I warned them on their talk page and directed them toward policy and help pages. Please be aware that you are able to warn them as well and direct them to the same pages. Also, please mark any inappropriate pages for deletion using the {{delete}} template. Thanks again. :) --—Deyvid Petteys (bother \ stalk) 22:28, December 13, 2013 (UTC)

Your welcome deyvid i will keep the last parts in mind next time this sort of thing happens. I just needed an opinion on the matter. Crazy131 (talk) 22:32, December 13, 2013 (UTC)

Second-person referencesEdit

Nice job on changing terms like 'player' and 'you' to Dragonborn, but you're still missing some.  The last few edits you made changed only one or two usages of these words, while several more were still present on pages like Meeko and Bran.  An easy way of finding and correcting these is to press CTRL and the F key to bring up the 'find' function, then type in those words to search for every instance in which they are used so they may be corrected.  Hope that helps. - Erik the Mad (talk) 20:25, December 18, 2013 (UTC)

Yeah thanks i will do that next time but you what suprises me i when you came back i expected you to revert a lot of my edits which you reverted two which is fine since you were right but i relizied i just need to edit better so thank you for the helpfull advice. Crazy131 (talk) 20:28, December 18, 2013 (UTC)

Classes in the leadEdit

Hello again, Craze. Please be aware that, at the moment, we are keeping race, class, and location mentions in the lead of character articles. As per lead styling sheet, the introductory paragraph of each article should summarize the contents of the entire article, while mentioning the core criteria for the subject. The infobox is a quick place to find core-content like race, gender, and class, and the information is bound to be repeated in the article as well. That's okay and desirable. So, for now, please keep them in. If you believe they should be omitted, voice your opinion on the forum topic about this. Thanks again. And as always, keep up the amazing patrolling work you've been doing. Thank you for proving that my faith in your ability was well-placed. --—Deyvid Petteys (bother \ stalk) 03:37, December 19, 2013 (UTC)

Yes, the ebony mace is in Skyrim, but in appearances the ebony mace ( Oblivion ) is said to be in Skyrim. That is false. Mania the Knight of Order (talk) 21:41, December 19, 2013 (UTC)

Online stubsEdit

Hello again, Crazy. Please refrain from adding the stub template to Online articles. Most times, not enough information is released on the topic, which makes the article look undeveloped. That does not qualify it for being a stub, as no more content can be added to it. I'll leave the page as it is, though. Thanks. —Sky Above,Voice Within · Show thy Voice! 19:35, January 1, 2014 (UTC)

Yes, that's why i won't remove the template from the page. Actually, keeping multiple edits on any article is considered badgehunting, although i don't know if the term "badgehunting" is to be taken literally. There is a badge regarding the total edits that one has done in articles, though. —Sky Above,Voice Within · Show thy Voice! 19:48, January 1, 2014 (UTC)
Oh i know there a badge for how many edits you make but there is however no lore badge that was my point. Crazy131 (talk) 19:51, January 1, 2014 (UTC)
My point is that editing lore articles still counts up to the general edits achievement. Oh, and i forgot, happy New Year! —Sky Above,Voice Within · Show thy Voice! 19:57, January 1, 2014 (UTC)
Yeah well okay happy new year too and thanks for the help Crazy131 (talk) 19:58, January 1, 2014 (UTC)

Re:Why the revert?Edit

I apologize, but reverting edits is not my job. If i feel an edit is degrading the article's quality, i remove it, but i've always hated to do so. Regarding your edit, the sentence "[...] is the Dean of History of the Bards College and author of ..." is correct in every detail; a period to isolate phrases is not necessary. In addition, you've added "also" to the now isolated sentence, while there is "also" in the last sentence of the trivia. This gets repetitive and boring to read. We have a name for redundant wording over here, but i don't know how to translate it. Hope this helps. —Sky Above,Voice Within · Show thy Voice! 01:32, January 6, 2014 (UTC)

Okay I guess that makes sense when i did made the edits it sounded right too me but I guess its redundant I try to do better next time thanks for the help i guess Crazy131 (talk) 01:38, January 6, 2014 (UTC)

Re: Why the Revert?Edit

I reverted your edited because there was a mistake, and the rest was unneeded. The mistake was 'Breaton', which is spelt 'Breton'. The rest, well, perhaps it could have stayed. But, I felt the former edit was worded fine, and did not need changing. Mostly the spelling error though. Okay, nothing personal. Flugsmith (talk) 18:00, January 10, 2014 (UTC)

Re:Your recent editsEdit

Thank you for changing my link Dragonborn to the Last Dragonborn.  However, I do not agree with you on the fact that Acilius Bolar is a character. Bolar is not officially a character.  To be a character, he would have to be in the Creation Kit.

Sincerely (talk) 01:02, January 26, 2014 (UTC)

Congrats! Edit

Hello Crazy, just a heads-up, you've been decaping both words in the "Active Ability" slots, when only the last one should be decapped, as the fields in an infobox are treated like a new sentence. Thanks. —Sky Above,Voice Within · Show thy Voice! 01:42, February 19, 2014 (UTC)

Categorizing categoriesEdit

Hey Crazy, I just wanted to let you know that categories shouldn't be categorized in their own category. For instance, Online: Females, should not be categorized in Online: Females. It serves no purpose, as all it does it circle it back to the category you're already in. Thanks. :) —TombRaiser SPEAK! 21:09, March 18, 2014 (UTC)

Re: Welcome backEdit

Thank you, and yes, I had some problems regarding the tablet. Returning now and seeing how much was done in my absence makes me feel bad. Anyways, the "The Elder Scrolls Online" category is being disused, since the game is out now. Also, if you fill the "Sound" slot in the creature infobox with anything, including missing templates, it will assume the article has an audio sample. Thanks again. —Sky Above,Voice Within · Show thy Voice! 02:41, April 16, 2014 (UTC)

Okay thanks I din't know we weren't using the The Elder Scrolls Online category anymore. Also things for telling about the missing template thing, since I don't have access to the data files. (I play xbox that's why) I won't add that anymore anyway it's been good talking to you good night. Crazy131 (talk) 02:48, April 16, 2014 (UTC)

Re: RumorsEdit

Hi Crazy, I wasn't sure so I had to read what it says on the page, and I had a look in the history.. It seems it has been expanding little by little over the last year or so.. so you can add more to it if you like. Do what you think is needed, that's fine. —EbonySkyrim Message! 08:01, June 7, 2014 (UTC)
