Re: Partial "revert"
Edit
Hey, As far as I know, you had used {{Oblivion|!}} versus {{Oblivion}}, not necessarily "removing" the game from the page. Everywhere I've seen, it's been {{Oblivion}} used in the leads, so it was mainly for consistency across pages. However, completely removing the game from the lead has been discussed for character pages, and it's been decided that they should go. For other pages, I'm not sure, really, so I've left them be (where I've seen them). Kroq-gar78 (talk) 05:13, February 1, 2013 (UTC)
- Yeah, I thought you were talking about that, but I included the other stuff in case ;) Anyway, I do see your point, but it's been {{Oblivion}} as the common thing to have as long as I've known (not as long as you guys), but maybe we should ask one of the admins on what to do just for clarification ;) If you want, you can leave it as {{Oblivion|!}} for now until we get an answer from an admin (e.g. Jimeee or Tomb). Regardless, I gotta sleep for today :) Kroq-gar78 (talk) 06:02, February 1, 2013 (UTC)
- Weapon and armor pages - Recently I have been standardizing the few hundred pages we have on these and every time I have used the full "The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim" format in the lead. For the sake of consistency we should just stick to that.

Time to archive
Edit
Hey DarthOrc,
Your talk page it getting a little long and you may want to think about archiving it.
All you have to do is create the page: User_talk:DarthOrc/Archive_1. Copy and paste your current message into the new page (You can leave a few recent new messages on your main Talk page) and save it. Then add the archive link to the top of your main Talk page. You can look at my Talk page for an example of how I've fixed my archive.

Format
Edit
While you feel it may be olf fashioned etc, the fact remains that changing The Elder Scrolls V: Dragonborn to Dragonborn in the lead is against what our guidlines state. While they are both functionally the same, by changing some you are creating inconsistencies. We certainly can't have that. You need to remember that not only skyrim or dragonborn pages use this format - its all games. If something is wrong or broken then there are ways and means to deal with it. You cant go against an agreed upon format without some form of discussion. I have gone through some of your edits and reverted that lead change.
If you feel strongly enough about changing it then I suggest you create a concensus track about it. Would you really be willing to go through hundreds of pages and make this change? Because many of the leads are not controlled by a template. A bot probably cannot do thia job either as the phrase appears under Appearances.
Also, keep in mind text in infoboxes and lists should never be decapped.

Caps
Edit
Please never decap a location name such as "Morvayn ancestral tomb" or "Raven Rock mine". That's not how they appear in game. Also the list format on Raven Rock page was correct before. I.e:
- Abandoned Building — A derelict building on the outskirts of the town.

US spelling
Edit
Hey guys, I saw you left a comment after correcting grammar/spelling you said US spelling please. I just want to let you know that the majority outside the US are taught english in school with english spelling. It is hard to know the american spelling just like that, one can't search on the internet in dictionaries for the correct spelling all the time. I hope you have that in mind when editing spelling :) EbonySkyrim (talk) 08:41, March 2, 2013 (UTC)
- Hey, you don't understand what I mean. I know that we use US spelling on the wiki, but you have to understand that I don't know, and others too who are not US citizens, when a spelling is different on a word than the english spelling on a word, and that it's hard for us to know when. For me english spelling comes naturally, not US spelling so instead of continue to say "US spelling please", just correct it and leave it. You don't have to say it everytime. I don't have the time to check every word for US spelling before I edit, that is very timeconsuming. Do you see what I mean? I'm not doing it on purpose, when I know the US spelling I type it. Edit mode error
Edit
Sorry, i'm not sure why the feature is not there. Wikia is likely responsible so I have no idea how to fix that.

Updated with new information
Edit
Hello,
My name is Kunigonde I am new to the Wiki but not TES and I also find myself drawn towards Alchemy (I found it essential in Oblivion). I hope my edition to your section on the Dragon page was useful. If you are interested maybe we could co-author an Alchemy tactics wiki.
A space where Alchemy is explored beyond just a crutch for Enchanting, Smithing and Fortify Restoration Exploits.

Perspective
Edit
I hate to try and drag you away from the Skyrim wiki, but I was wondering if you might be interested in coming back to Nukapedia to help out periodically. Specifically, over a subject that you appear to have reasonable knowledge over. You can find everything out here and here. Don't feel obligated or anything, I was just wondering if you might be willing to help out since a few of our editors are worrying about those helping not taking these changes seriously.

Re: Blocked edit
Edit
It was that dreaded youtube tag that was embedded on the page. You edited the whole page, so it thought you added the youtube tags. Anyway, I made somewhat of a fix for this by uploading the direct link via our own wiki's video upload tool. So, this should fix the problem. If you ever stumble upon another page that is using the youtube tags, just click on the "Video" button, and place the video's direct link into the template. Unfortunately, you'll have to do your edits again, if you didn't save before publishing. —TombRaiser SPEAK! 05:41, May 18, 2013 (UTC)
- After looking through the abuse filter, it looks like any page even those that have links with "youtube" in the name will cause the abuse filter to trigger, and it looks like there are more youtube links on the TESO page. I have no idea how to make changes to the abuse filters as it's filled with syntax coding I know nothing about, and since User:Elchzard is not around to make changes, then the next suggestion is to edit the TESO page in sections, instead of the whole page to avoid setting off the filter. —TombRaiser SPEAK! 06:03, May 18, 2013 (UTC)
