Hello Golden Silence, welcome to the Elder Scrolls Wiki! We're building a collaborative source of information for the Elder Scrolls, and we need your help.

We saw you making some changes to our articles, and thank you for it. Hope you choose to further this project, and that we'll see you around in the future. If you choose to stay, here are some links to help you out:

I hope you enjoy editing here! If you have any questions, see the help pages or ask one of our administrators.

Imga pageEdit

In the future if you're going to revert edits, at least try to contribute something as well, rather than simply reverting the page to a state were it contains false information. MHInfinite (talk) 12:22, September 1, 2013 (UTC)

In future don't copy information from one wiki to another without making it clear you are one and the same user. Copying content is forbidden and without identifying yourself clearly you run the risk of having it reverted. Golden Silence (talk) 12:31, September 1, 2013 (UTC)
The first two paragraphs on the UESP Imga page are a slightly altered wording of a section found in the Guide to the Empire (i.e. it's NOT original to UESP, and the paragraph on this wiki is a quote from the book). Reverting an entire page to a completely different state because of 2 sentences (the bit about Kollopi) is plain dumb. If you don't like it then just remove those sentences or alter the wording, it's not that difficult. MHInfinite (talk) 13:17, September 1, 2013 (UTC)
I'm not getting into a fight about something I realised I did wrong and fixed. Your edits brought suspicion and I alerted an admin to take a closer look, who consequently did and pointed out that you were the same editor. Reverting a page to a state that doesn't include any copied info is an entirely acceptable edit, further edits can then be made to fix anything known to be wrong. If you don't want any reversions to your edits you should be more clear about who you are, instead of having this sort of situation crop up. Golden Silence (talk) 13:29, September 1, 2013 (UTC)
Lets just end it at that. Its been a minor mix up and the problem has been resolved. In future we can all agree that it's best to contact an admin and let them deal with it rather than undo any edits, because we get into this sort of mess. It should also be noted that there really isn't a policy on either wiki that states you must declare if you are a user with two different names on each wiki - as such MHInfinite isn't really at fault here, it's just a misunderstanding. These sorts of things are very rare anyway. Jimeee (talk) 15:21, September 1, 2013 (UTC)
All I meant by that was a declaration that basically says, "to avoid being accused of plagiarism I am the same user who wrote the exact same info on the other wiki" rather than leave yourself open to these sorts of accusations. This is the only way we agreed on our community portal that we will allow wikia content on UESP, as otherwise the rules of "wipe it when found" would be used.
